Writing in the Tourism, Cruise and Hospitality Industries

In my constant quest to find inspiring examples of professionals making a living by writing well about their passion for food, drink or travel I have just discovered Simon Woolf’s blog, The Morning Claret and can recommend it highly.  In the main I want to draw attention to his articles because they do stay tightly-focused on the tasting, using the terms we study on our WSET courses at Plymouth.  It is worth following Simon to build and compare your own portfolio of tasting notes for your studies.

Drill down to Simon’s article on orange wines, for example, and very quickly he provides articulate and valuable tasting notes on a range of examples from this style of wine-making.
